Welcome to Endocrine Publications

The only website listing & updating key published studies (Supported by Association of British Clinical Diabetologists Diabetes Publications key published diabetes studies supported by ABCD)

By Dr. Aftab Ahmad

There are a vast number of research papers published in the numerous peer reviewed endocrine journals ranging from basic molecular science to clinical studies demonstrating the effects of interventions on the management of endocrine disorders. My aim is to find publications that would help clinicians focus on studies that could bring about a change or improve clinical practice.

I have redesigned the 2 websites, www.diabetespublications.co.uk and www.endocrinepublications.co.uk and combined them on the same site. The 2 website addresses would remain accessible for now. Kindly let me know what you think and point out the areas that are not working. Constructive suggestions are welcome.

Since I started the project in 2011, I had to retrospectively search for papers from the last 40 years and obviously could not go through all the journals for those many years. Instaed I identified landmark trials from those decades and included them on the website. However, since 2011 I have been updating the site and therefore, you will find far more studies from the years following 2011 then the years before.

While searching for your papers using the alphabets to "Jump To" the respective section, you may find some areas empty. Don't be alarmed as there are either no authors starting with that alphabet or no journals/study titles beginning with that letter.

Landmark trials have been listed with their webpage shortcuts. Click the URL address in the references that would lead to the free abstract on the respective journal site and in some cases free Full Text if that is available from the journal.

Studies can be found by author or group of authors, year, journal or even by name of the trials. Where the trial does not have a name, I have given it a name based on the the drug being trialled or the disease type being studied etc.

The studies listed are mostly clinical trials so my apologies to individuals looking for more basic science references.
